  • Asah hudgins - lead pastor

    Our lead pastor, Asah Hudgins, and his wife Tara are the parent’s of two great kids, Jordan and Jaxon. Asah came on as an Intern to Crossroads after serving as a youth pastor in his home state of Georgia. After serving at our church as associate pastor, he became the lead pastor in 2007. He is currently pursuing his Doctorate of Ministry from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Asah loves to preach and teach scripture and has a goal to preach through the entire Bible verse by verse during his lifetime. Asah is an avid reader and thoroughly enjoys learning all he can about Scripture so that he can pass that on to new leaders.


  • Patrick Strahan - operations & ASSIMILATION

    Patrick and Sarah Strahan are the loving parents of Gauge and Landon. Patrick leads our assimilation team in all things Crossroads! He has led a youth group and served as associate pastor before coming to Crossroads. With knowledge gained from his employment outside the church he guides the day­to­day operations of the church and makes sure all other ministries run cohesively and smoothly. Patrick strives for excellence in all areas and supports the ministry staff to that goal. His ultimate goal is to make every member and guest feel welcome and a part of the Crossroads family.

  • shelly dehner - children's minister

    Shelly Dehner guides the children of Crossroads through exciting and engaging Bible classes and special events. Along with her husband, Scott, they are raising their sons, Trafton and Colton. Their daughter Madeleine is a Junior at LSU. Shelly homeschools her children and shares that same passion for educating with the children in her care among our church. Shelly is very crafty and has many various hobbies, including fiberglass sculpting and mineral collecting. She carries her talents and passions into her ministry and uses all of them to teach kids about Jesus.


  • bryan mcmorris - youth minister

    Bryan McMorris and his wife Devon have been members of Crossroads for three years. Bryan leads our youth ministry and strongly desires to see the next generation discipled and instructed in the faith, and for them to become a vital part of the body of Christ in our church. Bryan currently teaches high school history and is studying for his Master’s of Divinity at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and Devon have a new daughter, Lydia. He and his family love the outdoors, and greatly enjoy college football. GEAUX TIGERS!


  • benjamin chouest - worship leader

    Benjamin Chouest serves as our worship leader, as well as a business director at Chick­fil­A in Hammond. Ben has served in various ministry positions, including leading college ministry and youth. He is currently studying for his Master’s of Divinity in Worship Ministries at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He has a strong desire to see the congregation he serves sing Christ­-centered songs while pointing them all to the gospel. Ben and his wife Maggie are originally from Larose, LA (aka Down da Bayou) and currently live in Hammond, LA. Ben and Maggie love to travel and would one day enjoy serving with their gifts on the mission field.

  • jacque middlecamp - administrative assistant

    Jacque and her husband, Matt, are the parents of Deacon and Kenyan. Jacque is the Administrative Assistant at Crossroads. She handles all of the daily ins-and-outs of Crossroads. Her husband, Matt, is the BCM Director at Southeastern Louisiana University. Jacque spends her time supporting her husband in ministering to college students. Her hobbies include hosting students and friends in their home, cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks—GO HOGS, and spending time with her family.
